Raw converter.
I have been using Apple Aperture to perform my raw conventions since Aperture came out over a year ago.

Everything was fine, until I switched from my Nikon D200 to the Canon 5D. Once I started shooting with the 5D, my images became extremely soft. First I thought that it was the problem with the camera. So I tried a friend's 5D and got the same results. So I decided to see if it was a software problem. I converted my raw files with Canon's DPP software that came with the camera and could not believe the difference. The files that were converted with DPP were razor sharp.

Now I have modified my workflow to run my raw files through DPP before adding them to my Aperture library.

Has anyone else ran across this problems?

Raw photo's in Windows Vista
Has anyone noticed that the only way to view Raw photo's in vista is if you have adobe photoshop (Bridge). I haven't been able to view them through exploreer since I upgraded my comupter. But at least I can always use Bridge to view them. I like the program to .... just wish that I could use explorer again. Boo hoo

I shoot in canon raw (CR2) format, and although I am a MAC users, when I had to preview my raw files on Vista, I had to download some kind of a "Vista RAW driver" from Canon that allowed me to preview the raw files directly in Vista.

I'll check that out
I'll take a look on the Canon site and try to find it.

Thanks Magicc
